22K Artisans Gold (Loose) - 13g - 3-1/8" Pack - Artisans Gold This is genuine 22K Artisans Gold leaf in loose form — 13g 3-1/8" leaf from Artisans Gold, made for gilders who lay real gold. Artisans Gold is genuine gold leaf beaten for gilders who want real karat gold at a working price — true gold color and handling without the premium-leaf premium. Loose leaf comes interleaved with tissue in booklet form — lift each leaf with a gilder's tip and lay it onto tacky size. Loose is the choice for water gilding and for any work where you cut and place leaf by hand. This bulk pack keeps production gilders supplied — buy the book when you want to try a color, buy the pack when it's your everyday gold. Use it for architectural gilding and restoration on picture frames, mirrors, and furniture. 22K Artisans Gold is the classic gilder's shade — the color clients picture when they ask for gold leaf. Handle leaf in still air — even a breath moves it. Keep books flat, dry, and away from direct sun; leaf keeps indefinitely when stored cool and dry. Wipe tools clean before you start so no oil or dust rides along onto the size. Details
