22K Artisans Gold (Loose) - 15g - 3-3/8" Book - Artisans Gold This is genuine 22K Artisans Gold leaf in loose form — 15g 3-3/8" leaf from Artisans Gold, made for gilders who lay real gold. Artisans Gold is genuine gold leaf beaten for gilders who want real karat gold at a working price — true gold color and handling without the premium-leaf premium. Loose leaf comes interleaved with tissue in booklet form — lift each leaf with a gilder's tip and lay it onto tacky size. Loose is the choice for water gilding and for any work where you cut and place leaf by hand. A book is the right size to learn a new shade or keep a working stock of the colors you reach for most. Use it for glass gilding and reverse-glass work on musical instruments and decorative objects. 22K Artisans Gold is the classic gilder's shade — the color clients picture when they ask for gold leaf. Handle leaf in still air — even a breath moves it. Keep books flat, dry, and away from direct sun; leaf keeps indefinitely when stored cool and dry. Wipe tools clean before you start so no oil or dust rides along onto the size. Details
