Gold Leaf Kit, Standard Oil

The Standard oil gilding kit — the Starter kit plus the tools that handle most everyday oil work.

It includes everything in the Starter kit plus a gold surplus removal brush, an etching burnishing pen, and a flat water size brush. The surplus brush clears loose leaf after the leaf is down. The etching pen lets you correct small mistakes in the size before the leaf is laid. The flat size brush gives better control when applying size on larger areas.

This is the kit most working letterheads use for regular oil gilding. When the job needs cotton and gelatin size as well, the Complete kit is the next step.
