Imitation Gold Roll (Composition) #2.5 25M (6" x 82') - Nazionale This is Imitation Gold Roll (Composition) #2.5 25M (6" x 82') — composition gold leaf in roll form for covering long runs without seams. Roll leaf is how production gilders do rails, moldings, striping, and architectural banding — unroll, press, and keep moving. Rolls pair with a gilding wheel: the wheel presses the roll leaf onto the sized surface in one continuous pass, which is why roll work goes so much faster than cut-leaf gilding on long straight runs. Use it for oil gilding with slow or quick size on picture frames, mirrors, and furniture — anywhere the gold runs long and straight, roll leaf beats books. Store rolls flat or on end in their tube, away from humidity. Keep the roll's leading edge clean — fingerprints on the leaf print through on the work. Details
