Mack/Tidwell 6 Piece Brush Set Flat Top

Mack/Tidwell 6 Piece Brush Set Flat Top

Flat Top is the flat brush of the set — the large flat with golden synthetic hair for filling, blocking in, and bold strokes alongside the finer brushes.

Tidwell did not set out to reinvent the wheel — he wanted a set for artists like himself, illustrators working across enamels, acrylics, and oils on finks, eyeballs, monsters, and detail work. Flat Top carries the fatter-belly handle that gives normal-sized hands more to hold, with synthetic bristles that are easy to care for and keep their shape extremely well.

Tidwell chose synthetic because it is easier to care for and keeps its shape: rinse Flat Top with mineral spirits, add a touch of brush oil, and it is ready for the next fink, eyeball, or monster.
