Mack/Tidwell Monster Stix Big Filly

Mack/Tidwell Monster Stix Big Filly

Big Filly is the bolder of the filbert pair, laying down broad tapered strokes and smooth shaded ribbons with the paint capacity to cover real ground.

This brush grew out of more than a year of development, with Jeral consulting one of the most well-rounded painters he knows — his wife Sarah — whose input pushed the set to a whole new level. Big Filly runs a full synthetic filament mixture built for long lines, tiny details, smooth shading, and just plain rocking it out.

Rinse Big Filly in mineral spirits after each session, work the paint out of the heel, and shape the synthetic filaments back to a point — it will come back for the next job ready to pull.
