The Autograph II trims the hair to 5/8 inch out of the ferrule, giving Von Dago's signature brush a firmer feel for controlled lettering. Like its siblings it wears a sleek black handle with a silver ferrule, and it uses the same favorite synthetic hair chosen for long service life. Every stroke repeats the last — that is the brush's whole reason for existing.
Where the Autograph I flows long and loose, the II answers when a signature needs to land in a defined space: dash plaques, small panels, canvas corners. The full synthetic filament mixture resists wear far beyond natural hair, so the point you start with is the point you keep. Stripers who sign their work daily lean on it.
