Round Fitch Brush - Genuine Hog Hair (1/2" Ferrule) - Mack - Mack This is Round Fitch Brush — a sign painter's brush stocked for the gilding trade. Good hair, properly cared for, is the difference between a line that flows and one that fights you. Clean in the medium's own solvent, never let paint dry in the heel, and store hung or flat so the point keeps its shape. A brush that's cleaned right lasts years. Use it for glass gilding and reverse-glass work on interior architectural detail and moldings — striping, lettering, sizing, and detail work at the gilder's bench. Never store a brush resting on its point. Hang or lay flat, keep out of direct heat, and never leave soaking — soaking swells the ferrule and ruins the set of the hair. Details
