Variegated (Sunburst Red) - 5-1/2" Pack - W&B Gold Leaf This is variegated Sunburst Red leaf — genuine metal leaf with variegated color fired right into it. Variegated leaf gives the mottled, multi-tone effects flat gold can't: every leaf a little different, every gilded surface alive with color. Variegated leaf handles like patent leaf — press it straight onto tacky size. It takes oil-size gilding beautifully, and the color variation does the decorating for you. Use it for water gilding over gesso and clay on signs, panels, and dimensional letters — frames, ornaments, and accent work where the leaf itself is the design. Seal variegated leaf when the job needs handling protection or lives outdoors. Store flat and dry like all leaf. Details
