Mack PinApple Express Lettering Quills Size 12

The Mack PinApple Express Lettering Quills Size 12 is the long-haired lettering quill Von Dago perfected after a year of trial-and-error experiments. Well-known sign painters field-tested the Size 12 alongside Von Dago before the PinApple Express ever reached the market. It pairs the finest imported European blue squirrel hair with the newest and softest synthetic filament developed for the Size 12 lettering quill.

In Size 12, the blue-squirrel-and-synthetic blend holds paint deep in the long hair and releases it in a smooth, controlled pull. The Size 12 point lays down crisp, consistent strokes for detailed lettering and scrollwork. Sign painters use the Size 12 PinApple Express for showcards, panels, window lettering and glass work.

Before its first use, the Size 12 PinApple Express should be washed with warm water and a mild hand soap. Von Dago strongly recommends letting the Size 12 pre-soak in oil for three full days before its first usage. He says that oil soak makes a huge difference in how the Size 12 quill performs on the pull. Mack list price for the Size 12 is $22.55; order the Size 12 from Letterhead Sign Supply.
