Lefranc's 3 Hour Gilding Mixture, a high-quality product originating from France, serves as an oil-based adhesive specially crafted for gilding with gold and metal leaf. It has earned its place as an essential tool in the arsenal of Master Gilders worldwide.
This Gilding Varnish is not only lead-free but also ideal for securely affixing gold leaf onto non-porous surfaces like glass, metal, and marble.
The 3 Hour Gilding Mixture has been thoughtfully designed for specific scenarios, such as when working on smaller surfaces or under less favorable conditions compared to the 12 Hour Gilding Mixture. This includes situations where humidity levels are a concern or where dust particles are prevalent.
It is versatile in its application, suitable for both interior and exterior projects.
