Cards for drugstores, as an instant download.

The Druggists and Dispensers Practical Show Card Instructor (1909) by William A. Thompson teaches show-card writing for the drugstore trade — the cards, phrases, and displays of the pharmacy counter. Pairs naturally with the hardware book for the niche-trade collector.

Inside this 1909 instructor:

The 1909 show card man earned his living with speed and consistency, and this book trains both: brush handling for card work drilled until the hand obeys. Show card writers, retail advertisers, and sign painters will recognize letterforms still in use on retail signage today.
