Mack Myers-Mack Phat Handled Brush Stroke

The Stroke is the workhorse of Myers' Car Show Set, a 1/4-inch brush for laying down the main color passages. Like the whole line it rides on the larger tapered handle Ron Myers specified — fatter than a pencil where you grip it, sweeping down into the ferrule. Durable taklon in a full synthetic filament mixture keeps it resilient.

At shows, Myers carries just these three brushes and a #10 striper, and the Stroke does the heavy lifting between the Liner's outlines and the Shader's blending. The phat handle gives the control of a bigger tool without the clumsiness, and the taklon releases enamel smoothly. Each brush is sold individually.

Pair it with the Liner for outlines and the Shader for wet-on-wet blending to complete the set. Wash the synthetic hair promptly after use. Built by the Andrew Mack Brush Company.
