Mack Wizard Black Widow Scroll Brush Size 2/0

The size 2/0 Black Widow sits in the sweet spot of the Wizard scroll series: fine enough for detailed ornament, bold enough to carry a scroll's main stem. Mack Brush built the line with Steve "The Wizard" Chaszeyka to veteran scroll-striper specs, and the 2/0 shows why that collaboration matters - control without stiffness, response without twitch. It is the size most stripers reach for first.

Maximum control and response is the whole brief of the Black Widow, and the 2/0 delivers it through a scroll head that loads evenly and returns to a point. The brush tracks curves without hesitation and holds its line through pattern repeats, which is exactly what long scroll panels demand. Your hand stays relaxed because the brush does the steering.

Use the 2/0 for stems and secondary scrolls, then drop to the 3/0 for the filigree that sits on top. Rinse in mineral spirits before paint tacks up, work preservative into the heel, and store tip-up in a brush box. Letterhead Sign Supply stocks every Black Widow size individually and in the five-brush set.
