The Practical Show Card Writer (1905) — Digital Download

The thin practical card book, as an instant download.

The Practical Show Card Writer (1905) by Richard Otto Bersick is the thin, practical card book — a short working manual for the card writer who wanted method, not bulk. Small but genuine trade content.

Inside this 1905 manual:

Show card writing was a trade of its own, and this 1905 manual teaches it like one: one-stroke show card alphabets, price-ticket and sale-card layouts. Show card writers, retail advertisers, and sign painters lettering retail work — price tickets, sale cards, window displays — will find alphabets sized for real card work.
